New Device Offers Flexibility in Soft Tissue Biopsy

Designed to fit comfortably in a physician’s hand, a new variable throw biopsy device and two firing modes give the practitioner a better handle on targeting smaller lesions or working critical structures.

The SelectCore Variable Throw Biopsy Device, by Inrad, has manual or automatic features, which are designed to offer flexibility in soft tissue biopsy. It is available in a 20 gauge with lengths of 10, 15 and 20 centimeters. 18G and 14G versions of the device will be available later in the first quarter.
