Transradial Compression Bracelet Aids Hemostasis

The Zoom 2010 transradial compression bracelet from Zoom Co Medic is designed to obtain a stable compression of the radial artery. The device can be adjusted a notch at a time to increase or decrease the pressure as needed. The transradial compression device comes with a sterile nonadhesive pad.

This bracelet is designed to obtain a stable compression of the radial artery, which will allow an uninterrupted flow of blood sufficient to protect the vascular system, while assuring adequate compression to avoid hematoma and encouraging prompt hemostasis.

The device will be released in April 2010.
